I had a fantastic experience at this traditional onsen ryokan in Kurokawa Onsen. The staff were warm and welcoming, and their attention to detail was evident throughout my stay. The room I stayed in was in classic Japanese style, with a comfortable futon bed and a patio overlooking a serene pond filled with colorful fish. The location of the hotel was very convenient, as it was very close to the express bus station, making it easy to travel by public transport. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and the staff greeted me with big smiles.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was perfect.

I had a truly satisfying ryokan experience at this hotel. The highlight was the 12-course dinner, which was worth every penny. From seafood to beef to dessert, every dish was prepared with incredible attention to detail. The onsen facilities were also fantastic, with a large outdoor hot spring for women and a mixed one for both men and women. The hotel even provided a variety of soaps and creams, which you could purchase as souvenirs. The staff were welcoming, and the manager personally greeted us at breakfast. The convenient location near the bus stop made exploring the area a breeze. Additionally, the rooms with balconies overlooking the garden and fish pond added a serene touch to our stay.
Nothing disappointed us during our stay at this hotel.

The spa experience was good, with nice outdoor onsens to take a dip in. the location was also quite peaceful, surrounded by nature. It was great to be able to relax and unwind a little.
There's not much to do in the area, so it ended up being quite a boring Easter. the food was also quite fish-heavy, so if you're not a big fan of seafood, you may end up feeling quite restricted with options.

The facilities were excellent - clean, well-equipped onsen and comfortable rooms. Convenient location for driving into Kurokawa. Attentive staff who were helpful despite language barrier. Beautiful views of garden and river. Delicious and beautifully presented meals.
Couldn't fault anything.

The hotel's location near the bus stop was very convenient for us and saved us a lot of travel time. The onsen offered a great experience with several options available including an open-air bath and sauna. The traditional Japanese style room was quite spacious and comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the Tatami mat floors.
The hotel is located far from the main shopping area, which required steep walks, causing mobility issues for some guests. , the dinner menu was limited and heavy on seafood.
